“Sitting down, Jesus called the twelve and said, ‘If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.”….” Mark 9:35.
Service was a priority to Jesus. His ultimate service to us all was The Cross.
God requires us to serve Him and to serve others as long as we live.
“When Joshua was old and well-advance in years, the Lord said to him ‘You are very old. BUT…………..’ “ Joshua 13:1. God was basically saying to Joshua that He had more for him to do; age did not matter.
This makes me realize that God never wants us to stop serving Him. When we cannot do everything, we are never too old to do something. He will bless us and we will bless others.
