Good morning from The Garden!

I am sure you have heard the old expression, “Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.”  This might give a feeling of urgency to get things done.  But most of us often take another approach and then say:   “Never do today what I can put off till tomorrow.”

This is often the attitude of many who do not listen to God’s voice.

When I was teaching, one of my students was struggling with God’s call.  I asked him why it was so hard for him to receive Christ and let Him be first in His life.  His answer was:  “I have a lot of stuff I want to do first.  Then I will be ready.”  This made perfect sense to him at the time.

People often think they have time to do it tomorrow.  God calls us to embrace His grace and to receive His righteousness TODAY.

Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts…”  Hebrews 3:15.

‘I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”  2 Corinthians 6:2.

Witnessing is easy; accepting is easy.  No one has to know all the scriptures.  We just need to share what Jesus has done for us and invite others to have this same opportunity.  “For God so loved the world that He gave..…………..”  Just as He gave to us, we give to others today.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
