Good morning from The Garden!

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL BE JOYFUL IN GOD MY SAVIOR.” Habakkuk 3:17-18.

Habakkuk knew that even in the hardest times, he would rejoice in God the Savior. His feelings and commitment were not determined by the events around him, but by his faith in the One who can truly save.

When absolutely nothing makes sense, and your troubles seem more than you can bear, (…Lean not on your own understanding…” take your eyes off of your difficulties and look to God. Remember that God gives strength and courage, and that nothing can separate you from His love.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39.

God knows——We don’t!

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
