We are often surrounded by the negative in such a way that we allow it to be part of our lives.
Paul gives us a way to turn the negative into a positive!
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4.
Paul’s attitude from a prison cell teaches us an important lesson: We do not have to let our outward circumstances control our inner attitude.
Paul was full of joy because he knew that no matter what happened to him, Jesus was with him.
It is very easy to get discouraged about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. Look at life from the right perspective and find that unending joy that allows you to “Rejoice in the Lord, always!!”
