Good morning from The Garden!

Have you ever been fishing? If you have not, I know you have watched someone fish at one time or another. The routine goes something like this: The line goes backward, then forward into the water; it stays for a little while, and then comes back to the fisherman, sometimes with the same bait on the hook and sometimes with something larger (like a fish.)

Watching the fisherman casting the line into the water reminds me of a scripture that marks our daily life.

Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7

We may cast our cares on Him,. but we most often bring them back again, just like the fisherman.
We keep the same care that we cast away or sometimes we add to that care an even larger one.

God cannot comfort us or heal us if we do not leave the problem with Him. We must let go, and trust God to carry the burden for us.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
