“Aw, Mom, Everybody’s doing it!” pleads the child.
—-“Wide is the gate and broad is the path that leads to destruction and many there are who enter.” Matthew 7:13
“But that doesn’t make it right.” Mom replies.
—-Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate….Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:14.
Living for Jesus can sometimes be lonely or difficult because it seems everyone else is going another way. But Jesus tells us that there is only one way–“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes unto the Father but by me.” John 14:8.
When we walk one way with Jesus, we walk toward our Eternal Home. That is all that matters.
