“Children, obey your parents in the lord for this is right. Honor your father and mother—And you, fathers[parents], do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:1,4.
These verses should be read together. It takes both sides to bring peace in a home.
If your faith is real, it will surely prove itself at home, with those who know you best. Children and parents have a responsibility to each other.
When you have the heart of Christ, you can relate to one another, even disagree with one another, with respect, thoughtfulness, and love.
