I was told one time that I should read everyday at least one Psalm and one Proverb. The Psalm builds my relationship with God and the Proverb builds my relationships with others.
In Psalm 77 the Psalmist cries
“I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me..
When I was in distress I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands and my soul refused to be comforted.” v. 1-2.
It is okay to express your true feelings with God. He understands and He cares about you.
This might seem a little depressing, a little like God is not hearing the prayer.
But if you continue to read, you will will see that the Psalmist continued to pour out his heart to God. When he did, something wonderful happened—he began to remember—-
“Then I thought, ‘To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High.’ I will remember the deeds of the Lord. Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your deeds.” v.10-11.
The notation in my study Bible gave this understanding:
“We are comforted through hard times by remembering God’s help in the past. Recalling God’s miracles and previous works can give us courage to continue.”
Have a blessed day!

“Better a little with the fear of the Lord, than great wealth with turmoil.” Proverbs 15:16.
