Good morning from The Garden!

A diamond is mined from deep in the earth among dirt, rock, sand, and other materials. It is then separated and washed and passed on to a buyer. The beauty and value of this diamond is not known until it is finished and polished. But the buyer buys it in the rough, then polishes it; only then, is its true value revealed.

Just like a diamond in the rough, mankind is imperfect and incomplete. But God chose to create us in His own image so we can accept His love and His grace and His mercy. He loves us in our imperfection and He paid the price with His blood.

“But God commended His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Roman 5:8

Only mankind can accept this blessing. God made us in His own image to rule over the animals, the birds, the fish of the sea. He made us different from all other creatures. He gave us a heart to receive Him and a desire to see that others come to know Him.

You might be a diamond in the rough; you might feel you are not good enough to be of value to God, but God loves you just as you are. He offers to clean you with HIs grace and polish you with His love.

If you have received this grace and love and understand its blessing on your life, then you are to shine for others to see and share this message with those around you.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
