Good morning from The Garden!

Polio was the most dreaded disease of the 20th century. In 1952 alone this disease affected over 57,000 people, mostly children. Parents were terrified that polio would leave their children crippled or would force them to live their lives in an iron lung.  I personally remember clearly this fear.

In the fall of 1962, I stood in line for hours with hundreds of other college students to receive a new oral vaccine that would prevent polio. A simple preventive solution to a catastrophic illness—and we couldn’t wait to receive it.

There is a risk that this disease will once again threaten our world. Why? Because many who are not afraid of this disease refuse to take the vaccine that would last a lifetime—–a simple solution, yet refused!

Christ presented mankind with a plan that lasts more than a lifetime—a plan that lasts for all eternity! “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on Me will have everlasting life.” John 6:47.

A simple plan, a simple solution! And it lasts forever! Do not refuse it!

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
