Good morning from The Garden!

I live in a wonderful country neighborhood.  We support each other, help each other, and leave each other alone.  Our favorite expression is “You know that I’m here if you need me.”

We are always needing coffee, sugar, cocoa, or cool whip. Somebody will have what we need so we don’t have to go to town. (It’s just understood—If I have it I’ll share it.)  I remember one time many years ago, I looked in the fridge for my ketchup.  It was a mystery as to what could have happened to it.  The next day my young niece Kathryn from across the road came bouncing in my house with my ketchup bottle.  She said, “Aunt Di, I forgot to tell you.  I came and got your ketchup for my french fries.”  That’s just the way it was and still is.

“Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.”  Matthew 5:42.

Sharing is a way to give back the love that God shows to us every day and in sharing we can “love thy neighbor as thyself.”  This makes God smile.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
