I am reminded that each day is a gift to treasure, to embrace, and to enjoy. A day to make new memories, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem to be at the time.
No one person’s day is the same as another’s. Sometimes it is spent at work or at play. Sometimes it is spent with loved ones. Sometimes it is spent with friends. Sometimes it is spent alone, reflecting on God’s goodness and on His beauty all around us—moments to treasure. Moments of making memories.
We spend time reflecting on those that are no longer with us being thankful for the time we had to love them and to spend time with them.—-Making memories.
These memories help us to live in the “today.” And we cherish those who are around us “today.” We laugh, we cry, we play, we watch others play, we take pictures, we eat, we pray, and we appreciate each and everyone who touches our lives “today.”
“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth….” Proverbs 27:1
“Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today…” Hebrews 3:13.
