Good morning from The Garden!

The headlines scream of violence in our world.  It sometimes feels to us that Satan is winning.  But there is more going on that never makes the headlines.  “Parents love their child today”;  “Doctor saves a life today”;  “Child praises parent today”; “Teen accepts Christ today”; “Family prays together today”; Youth ministers to others on mission trip”; These simple everyday occurrences are never in the headlines, but they are happening every day, every hour.

As believers we face hardships in many forms that could cause us to feel abandoned by Christ, but He is always with us. We are to keep serving until He comes again.

The most comforting promise in all Scripture exclaims that it is impossible to be separated from Christ.

“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-38.

Nothing can stop Christ’s constant presence with us. With this overwhelming assurance, we must never be afraid to accept God’s will.  We may not make the headlines, but we can make a difference in a life today.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
