Good morning from The Garden!

God’s Word teaches us to pray for one another, to pray without ceasing, to pray for healing, to pray for strength, and to pray for the faith to hear and accept God’s Will.

We pray but the answer to our prayers are always in God’s plan.  He alone brings the fulfillment of our prayers.

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.” James 5:15.

The sick are not always healed in this life, but God brings complete healing to those who love Him.  We may not get the new job we prayed for, but acceptance of God’s will makes us content in the one we have. We may have troubles and turmoil that we prayed would not come our way, but God walks us through and comforts us in all things.

God may have other plans for us than the ones that we pray diligently for.  He does not always answer our prayers the way we planned.

For the praying Christian, this is either the hardest or the easiest acceptance we face.

Above all, we must remember two things:

1.  God is the creator of all things and is the caregiver of all things.  He deserves our total devotion.

You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelations 4:11.

2.  God has a plan for us in His kingdom:

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.”  1 Corinthians 2:9.

As we pray, we always put God first, and in faith, say as Jesus did:  “….not my will, but Thine be done…..”  Luke 22:42.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
