Good morning from The Garden!

Some commercials just make me laugh.  The ones that tell you that it just folds up and fits right in your closet are the best.  Now, I ask you, “Do you have an empty closet to hold an exercise machine? Do you have an empty drawer for that easy fold up jar opener?”

Where there is no space, something can’t fit.

When your heart is filled with stuff—anger, hatred, worry, grudges, grief, pride, greed—(I can go on, but you get the picture), there is no room left for the good that tries to get in.

Take time each day to clean out your heart and make space there for God’s attributes to fill you with faith to face the day and then………

Make every effort to add to your faith, goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ…..”  1 Peter 1:5-8.

Can you believe there will be room for all those qualities when your heart is open and ready to receive?   Your faith in Christ begins the heart’s journey, and then you can add to each moment of each day the other good ones that lead you to love others as you serve as an ambassador for Christ.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
