There are two different attitudes that keep us from doing God’s work the way in which He desires.
We are sometimes either lowborn or highborn—This simply means that we either think too little of ourselves or too much.
“Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance they are nothing; together they are only a breath.” Psalm 62:9
Isn’t that an interesting verse! Weighed on a balance we are nothing. We all have one thing that balances the scale, only one thing that has eternal value.
“One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard; that you, O God, are strong, and that You, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done.” Psalm 62:11-12.
That one thing that matters is the faithful work that we do for HIM, our loving and eternally faithful Heavenly Father.
So whether we are lowly or highfalutin (Yes, that is a word; It means pompous or pretentious; I looked it up!!!), we are all equal in God’ s eyes because of what we do for HIm daily.
“….Because YOUR LOVE is better than life…” Psalm 63:3.
