I believe that one of the most influential Christians that ever lived is Billy Graham He was born in 1918. He was reborn at the age of 16. He trusted God and lived with a passion for the salvation of others for almost a century. He influenced presidents and foreign leaders. He preached to the poor and the rich, the young and the old. Through television and public broadcasts he reached 2.2 billion—more than anyone in the history of Christianity.
He worked hard and he sacrificed much to serve as he served, but the most important tribute that anyone can give to Billy Graham is to say that he lived with a God-centered humility.
“By the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them,—yet, not I, but the Grace of God that was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:10.
Billy Graham received his eternal reward on February 21, 2018. He always gave God the glory and the honor and the power and he would want us to do the same.
Today (the anniversary of his death) will not be celebrated with parades or speeches or holidays, but he will forever be remembered, and his influence will continue for generations to come.
