Good morning from The Garden!

Four things can never come back: a spent arrow, your past life, a neglected opportunity, and the SPOKEN WORD. Arabian Proverb

How often do you wish you could take back something that you have said?

It is possible to try to make amends or to apologize for hurtful words, but not possible to take them back as if they were never spoken.

The words seem etched forever in the heart of the one offended.

God knows that the tongue is powerful—good or bad. The scriptures command us to guard our tongue—-to always think before we speak.

To quarrel with a neighbor is foolish; a man with good sense holds his tongue.” Proverbs 11:12. Living Bible.

Remember to Stop, think (or pray), then speak!

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
