Good morning from The Garden!

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, GENTLENESS and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22.——

We hear a lot today about a person’s rights. Everyone wants to prove he/she is right. But you can’t be right all the time and have a GENTLE Spirit. GENTLENESS comes from within and pours out in actions toward others.

Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Rejoice: “Let your GENTLENESS be known to all people. The Lord is near.” Philippians 4:4-5.

We think of GENTLENESS as having a light touch or handling something with care. But the Hebrew word used here can be translated (reasonable, fair-minded, charitable.)

“To all people” means those who do not believe in Christ, those who do us wrong, those who disagree with us, and, of course, those we love and hold dear.
When Christ lives within us, He directs our thoughts and actions so that we do not always demand our own way. He helps us to see personal rights as a gift from God, a gift never taken at the expense of others. With this understanding, our GENTLENESS will reveal our inner self as Christ wants it to be.
Be completely humble and GENTLE ; be patient bearing one another in love.” Ephesians 4:.2.

God bless you!
In Christian love,
