Good morning from The Garden!

Joshua had led the people of Israel into the Promised Land, fought the battles, and divided the lands. He had followed God’s instructions faithfully. Now it was time to say farewell to his people. He was “old and well-advanced in years” Joshua 23:1 and he was giving instructions to his people.

“Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled, not one has failed.” Joshua 23:14.

Joshua was reminding the people that God had been faithful to them and patient with them.

We have to be reminded that even though sometimes we live with the consequences of our own behavior, God is patient, and God is faithful in His promises to nurture those who follow Him.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
