Time, talents, possessions, relationships, and opportunities are gifts from God to further His Kingdom.
In the parable of the talents, Jesus points out that we are each given talents(gifts) according to our ability. He wants us to use our abilities (the ones He has given us) right now to work for Him. He does not want us to complain about the ones who seem to have received more or different talents. He needs us to serve Him with what we have and right where we are.
“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” Matthew 25:23.
