Moses told the Hebrews that when they were ready to return to God, He would be ready to receive them. God’s mercy goes beyond anything we can imagine, even though we often do not realize this until our world crashes in on us.
Moses challenged Israel to choose life, to obey God, and therefore continue to experience His blessing.
“Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach—–This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life.” Deuteronomy 30:11;19-20.
Life is full of choices. God doesn’t force His will on you. God desires for you to choose to follow Him.
He wants you to choose life.
