Big sins! Little sins! Does the Bible say we can’t do this? This is always a debate even among Christians.
We often find it easy to stay away from actions that are expressly forbidden in the scriptures. But what about the times when the scriptures are silent?
We wonder why we feel guilty when “everyone else is doing it.”
Well. what does the Bible say about this!
“—–everything that does not come from faith is a sin.” Romans 14:23b.
God gives us a conscience when He comes to live in our hearts, and he literally intends for us to let our conscience be our guide. When God shows us that something is wrong, then we should avoid it.
“They must hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.” 1 Timothy 3:9.
Going against our conscience will give us an uneasy, guilty feeling.
Listening to the voice of God within and acting on it will lead to peace.
“……I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace………” John 16:33.
