The scriptures teach us to look to God in all circumstances. “Give thanks in (not for) all circumstances……..” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Isaiah 40:29.
“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” Proverbs 23:18.
Abraham Lincoln lost nine times in his vie for public office. One of these losses was for U.S. Senator just two years before he was elected President of the United States.
R.H. Macy of the Macy Department Store chain failed seven times before his store in New York became a success.
Babe Ruth struck out 1330 times (That’s a lot of strike-outs,) but he hit 714 home runs.
We learn from others that losing does not make someone a loser. It is only when he gives up trying that he has lost everything.
We must keep on trying to be the person God wants us to be. He will always be waiting to help us succeed.
Our Christian life is always being tested, but we should never give up on God because He never gives up on us.
