Good morning from The Garden!

People seem to stay away from things they do not understand.  I am living proof that this is true.  I rarely ever check social media such as face book, twitter (now they tell me it is just X), snap chat, or tictok, or whatever.  I know these outlets can be entertaining or informative, and a great way to share and save pictures.

I checked my face book page yesterday to find hundreds of well wishes from friends.  With every birthday wish that popped up, I saw a face and with the face a memory.  It was fun and heart-warming to hear from so many people.

Why am I mentioning this?  Because I realize that all things are deemed good or bad by how we operate through them.  Social media can bring friends together or break them up; it can make a day brighter or gloomier;  it can give us a chance to pray for others and allow others to pray for us.

I simply forget to check it, and therefore, miss out on many things that are shared only through this media.  It is a pathway of information—good or bad.

I have been “hacked” so they say so many times that I am uneasy to click there.

Now, what has this to do with anything?  So many feel the same way about becoming a Christian or being a Christian.  They seem to feel they need to know everything about God and His plan or His way.  They are afraid to commit because they don’t understand all there is to know.  They are afraid of getting disappointed or “hacked.”

It is really so simple.  Trust and obey—–…”.lean not on your own understanding…”

“If you confess with mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Romans 10:9-10.

See, it is simple——Just a click away——Trust in Christ and live through Him every day.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
