Her mom placed her at the top of the slide. Her dad was waiting at the bottom. Her grandmother and great-grandmother were at both sides of the slide. Little Hazel looked for just a second, waited, then let go and slid smoothly down the path to her father.
She had no fear; she was not afraid! Why? Because she was protected on all sides and her father whom she trusted was waiting for her at the end.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.
Just like little Hazel—-You have to let go and trust the One who loves you and protects you.
