Good morning from The Garden!

Last week I was on the phone with “someone” who told me that I needed to come by when I had a chance and sign “something.”

When I started my daily routine, I tried to remember who that “someone” was. My mind was blank. So I called my son to ask him if he knew of any papers I needed to sign. This is the conversation:

Me: ” Curt, I am supposed to sign a paper. Do you what paper this might be?”

Curt: “No,, Mom, I don’t have a clue!”

Me: “Oh, I remember now who it was that I talked to and what I need to do.”

Curt: “Well, Mom, I’m glad I could be of some help.”

I guess it it true that just saying things out loud to someone can make things better. LOL

But seriously, it does often help to talk to others. You may know in your heart that prayer is conversation with God. You may not have any trouble voicing your requests, your sins, or your burdens to God, but so often you may not be able to hear what He has to say to you.

Things can get all caught up inside of you and it may seem impossible to find some relief.  Talking to another trusted Christian friend about your prayer needs can release this pressure and help you to see clearly the answer that God has given you.  Sometimes you may just need someone to listen, and not to judge you.

Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” James 5:16.

When you share your burdens, you divide them with others and your prayers are then multiplied as others pray for you.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
