Good morning from The Garden!
“—-There is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.” Ecclesiastes 3:12.
To be happy and to do good while we live are worthy goals, but we can pursue them in the wrong way.
We can seek happiness through another person, through a job or profession, through wealth and possessions, but we will never find true happiness until we have a proper view of God’s love for us.
God desires for His children to enjoy life. When we have a true relationship with God, then we discover that real pleasure is found in enjoying whatever we have as GIFTS from God, not as something WE accumulated.
In God, we have everything; without Him, we have nothing.
