Good morning from The Garden!

Why is it that we always believe that we can do things on our on? Even little children rebel when you try to help them. “No, I do it myself!” you can hear them insist.

When we are strong in our own abilities, we are tempted to leave God out of the picture.

When we are weak because of circumstances, and we allow God to fill us with His power, then we are stronger than we could ever be on our own.

God does not intend for us to try to be passive, or weak, or ineffective. Remember Peter first of all got down out of the boat before he could walk on the water.

“Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus–“Matthew 14:29.

Life provides enough setbacks and obstacles without us creating them, but when these obstacles come along, we must depend on God.

Only His power can provide us with lasting strength to carry on through difficult times.

FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG.” 2 Corinthians 12:10.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
