Good morning from The Garden!

As I spent time with my great-grandchild Hazel yesterday, I noticed that she would play for a while on her own (you know, doing her own thing) and then she would fuss a little and look at me and hold her hands up for me to hold her.

When my grandchildren were small, they would play hard until they just got too tired to stand on their own. They would then turn to me and simply say, “Hold me!!”

I could feel them relax as they totally rested in my arms.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:6.

God wants to hold you. His arms are wide open waiting to receive you as you are.

But you know that He cannot hold you unless you are willing to reach out to Him.

When you let God pick you up, not only does it relieve you of your burden, it makes God overjoyed just knowing that you love Him and depend on Him.

He is waiting to take your burden. So hold your hands up today and rest in His arms.

Cast all your cares on Him for He careth for you.” v . 7.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
