Good morning from The Garden!

Looking at old photos and old videos make my heart smile and bring a tear to my eye. I am reminded once again of the excitement and vibrancy of youth.

Pictures of my my mom and dad when they were first married and pictures of my children and grandchildren when they were small stir my heart with the realization of the passing of time.

To everything there is a season-—-”  Ecclesiastes 3:1a.

We must always remember the youthful times but not yearn for them; we must embrace the mature years, but not cling to them; we then can celebrate old age with a renewed spirit and a heart full of love.

God gives us life for one purpose only:  To honor Him and to love others.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength.  This is the greatest commandment.  And the second is like unto it.  Love your neighbor as yourself.  There is no commandment greater that these.”  Mark 12:30.

Therefore we do not lose heart………. we are being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16.

I pray we can be renewed every day by the warmth of the Holy Spirit living in us—no matter what our age may be.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
